We welcome you to bring your own mask, however we can provide you with a mask if you require one.

How we are keeping patients and staff safe during the pandemic

To protect our patients and staff, we have introduced the following protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, including (but not limited to):

  • Patient screening - When booking an appointment, please inform reception staff of your COVID-19 status and/or if you feel unwell. Temperature screening using touch-free thermometers may also be used.

  • Signage displayed at all our clinics - Please read and follow directions of the signs that are displayed at our sites to help contain the spread of communicable diseases.

  • Routine cleaning and disinfection - In addition to our standard infection control policies and procedures, we have introduced further measures, including regular cleaning of high touch surfaces. Alcohol based hand sanitisers are provided for use by staff and visitors to our clinics. Hand hygiene protocols are routinely practiced.

  • Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) - All our staff and patients have access to the appropriate PPE (i.e. gowns, masks and gloves) when required.

  • All visitors are required to use mandatory QR codes to check in. Alternative check in is available for those who don’t have smartphones.

When restrictions are in place/during lockdown periods:

  • Please attend your appointment alone - Unless prior authorisation is given, only patients are permitted in the waiting and scanning rooms during lockdown periods. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to easing this as soon as it is safe to do so.

  • Social/physical distancing - As per the government guidelines, particularly in waiting areas, we ask that patients remain 1.5 metres away from others. We request that only patients visit the clinic and that anyone else accompanying patients who are not a carer, support person or a parent of a patient under the age of 16 do not remain inside the building.

  • Temperature screening of staff and patients - All staff and visitors will have their temperatures measured using touch-free thermometers to prevent anyone with a fever (37.5°C or more) from remaining in the building.

We appreciate the support of our staff and visitors by following the above protocols, as well as following the guidelines provided by the Department of Health to help stop the spread of coronavirus (and other communicable diseases).
