From the humble beginnings of a single clinic in Dandenong, Joe, has grown Marina to the 13 sites it currently boasts (with more planned soon).
In 2010 a partnership was formed with Stephen Crosbie and Dr Maged Bekheet, who shared Joe's strategy for future growth, to expand by providing high quality, affordable, community services in areas that need them most.
Joe, has run a variety of successful enterprises, before embarking on Marina, and is mainly responsible for leading the business with strong fiscal and strategic foundations. In the meantime, he can still boast that he takes a perfect X-Ray every time!
Dr Maged Bekheet
Director & Chief Radiologist
Dr Bekheet, joined the team at Marina in 2009 after working in Queensland’s hospitals for 5 years.
With close to three decades of experience as a Radiologist, Dr Bekheet, has also studied and practiced extensively in both Egypt and overseas. Whilst overseas he established his interest in general radiology and developed expansive knowledge across all modalities.
Dr Bekheet, is a full-time clinician, who leads the medical team on a day-to-day basis and is largely responsible for the protocols, medically related follow-up and liaison with referrers from a medical perspective.

Stephen joined Joe, at Marina in 2002 as the head of ultrasound. Ultrasound, has been his area of expertise and interest, not just for its ability to give answers to many medical questions but also the unique interactions with patients and their care that it affords. Ultrasound has been one of the drivers of Marina's success. Together with Joe, they have developed Marina into the South Eastern powerhouse that it is today.
He is still (like all the directors and management), very hands on, an active sonographer at Marina's sites, so that he experiences first hand what happens in the business on a day to day basis.

Clinton, brings a vast array of experience and expertise from the "shop floor" as a radiographer, sonographer and general and operations management, working in the public and private sectors. He has also consulted for several medical organisations and is committed to deliver optimal service and patient care. Besides leading the operations, he also is responsible for the marketing and human resources of the business
He has commitment to building the Marina business on the strong foundations of quality service, through a team approach by giving "the right answers to medical questions, the first time".

Prior to joining Marina Radiology in 2014, Christina managed the Cancer Imaging administration team at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Christina has a wealth of hands-on experience in healthcare operations management in both the private and public sectors. She has a keen interest in patient safety and care, and like the other managers at Marina, considers providing the best service to patients and referring doctors the primary driver for success.
Christina's role involves managing the corporate functions of the business including contract management, property management, insurance and incident response, and business development, as well as assisting the operations team and radiologists in their daily functions.
Teneille commenced with Marina Radiology in 2011 as a Medical Receptionist at our Dandenong clinic. After several months she was promoted to branch supervisor at Dandenong gaining a passion in not only a reception role but as a leader.
Teneille has grown within the organisation and in 2014 she was promoted to Marina’s Reception Manager.
Teneille’s primary role is to oversee the Reception staff, Medical Typists & Courier.
Human Resources Officer

Yvonne joined the Marina Radiology team in 2007 as a Medical Receptionist. Prior to joining Marina Radiology, she worked in retail and corporate video production. Yvonne has enjoyed a diverse career with Marina Radiology. In 2009, she was promoted to Office Supervisor of the Dandenong branch, then she became the Staff Training and Development Officer in 2010. In 2012 she became the Human Resources Officer and continues in this role to date.
Aside from general HR tasks, including recruiting and on-boarding of new staff and organising training events for current staff, she has been actively involved in the implementation of the staff awards as well as other HR initiatives within the company.
Yvonne is looking forward to hiring radiology superstars to support the growth of Marina Radiology.

Amie’s keen interest in the health sector and passion for patient care drove her to undertake a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Human Physiology) at the University of Melbourne. After deciding to forgo a career in neurological research, she set out to compliment her knowledge base with a Diploma of Marketing.
Whilst studying, Amie joined the Marina team in 2013 as Client Services Specialist. Her dedication saw her soon appointed as Marina’s Marketing Coordinator. Working closely with the Marketing Team and referring community, Amie works diligently to help grow awareness about Marina’s rapidly expanding suite of services and sites, and the benefits Marina brings to patients and practitioners alike.
Medical Liaison Officer
Nicci began her career with Marina Radiology in 2012 as a Medical Receptionist. With her hands-on experience and keen interest in health, she was promoted to branch supervisor at Berwick, after a very short period.
She quickly gained experience and extended her knowledge of Marina’s business, and soon, with a developing passion for sales, was transferred into the marketing team as a medical liaison officer in 2016.
Nicci, thrives on connecting with the referring community and developing their relationships with Marina. She works hard to ensure that the company provides the referring physician and patient with the best possible care and service.
Medical Liaison Officer
After completing her nursing training at the Austin Hospital, Donna continued in general nursing for a number of years within the hospital environment, including radiology. At the same time she also as a Masseur in sports remedial massage.
She then embarked on an eclectic career in radiology involving with low field extremity MRI at Olympic Park Sports Medicine, Malvern and Manningham, whilst also marketing the radiology business to a wide community of specialists and general practitioners.
Her Medical Liaison and Business Development roles in varied medical areas continued in not only Radiology, but also Gastroenterology, Pathology and food intolerance testing.
Donna enjoys the interaction with the referral base, and enjoys the creating a smooth interaction between referrer and provider.
